For the presentation of his album ‘Myfyrio’ in Gravensteen Gent a few years ago Myrddin managed to snare none other than rising star Nino de Los Reyes – one of the strongest performers in today’s flamenco scene that brings extra poetry to the already imaginative language of Myrddin ..

Nino de Los Reyes toured with Carmen Cortes, Javier Baron and Tony Gatlif’s show Vertige or could be seen as a guest at Pepe Habichuela, Enrique Morente or the band of Paco de Lucia, in a tribute to the grandmaster. Nino de Los Reyes is mainly praised for his incredible footwork and his extreme sense of rhythm. You can hear that on Paul Simon‘s album “Stranger to Stranger”. Nino de Los Reyes, together with pianist Chick Corea and other musicians, form the Spanish Heart Band whoch won a Grammy Award for “Best Latin Jazz album” three years ago.
